Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from The University of Alabama, with a minor in Business, and continued to advance through roles including project engineer, assistant superintendent, and project manager. Along the way, he worked on many large and complex projects throughout the region, developing the technical knowledge, leadership skills, and attention to detail that define his approach today.
Drawing on that experience, Matt founded Weider Contracting to meet Northern Virginia’s growing demand for reliable, high‑quality site development services. The company’s success reflects his commitment to safety, quality, and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project partners.
Matt lives outside of Warrenton with his wife, two children, and two dogs. His yellow Lab, Emmett, is a familiar sight on jobsites—often riding shotgun and keeping an eye on daily operations.
